Assignments

While my primary focus is on my personal work as an artist photographer, I occasionally have the chance to take on interesting assignments.
The approach to every project, whether artistic, personal, or commissioned, is the same; it is essential to find a connection with the subject matter and making it my own.
I was first commissioned by Kira Pollack to document poverty in the US for TIME Magazine in 2011, a project that was later published by Steidl Publishers (American Realities, 2016). Since then, I have worked with a variety of publications, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, TIME, The Smithsonian, and GEO.
